Baltimore has been the setting of many feature films and television shows. Movies and programs filmed in Baltimore include “Live Free or Die Hard,” "Syriana," "Step Up," "XXX:State of Union, " "The Wire" and more.

Our Mission
The mission of the Division of Film, Video and Television is to provide exceptional service to motion picture production companies scouting and filming in the City of Baltimore.

What We Do
We are a "one stop shop" for production companies scouting Baltimore locations and requiring the use of city government properties, facilities, equipment and personnel.

We serve as an aggressive advocate for film, video and television companies and act as their liaison to Baltimore's residential and business communities.
